Both parents
and students are able to consolidate their
loans however these loans cannot be combined,
but each loan
Can be consolidated
separately.
|
Married students use
to able to consolidate together but that was revoked
in 2006, since there is a chance of divorced once
the
Loan is consolidated
it cannot be separated if the couple divorce.
There is a time limit
though as to when you can consolidate your loans.
They are usually done during a grace period, or
when
The loans enter the
repayment period. Unfortunately students that
are still in school cannot consolidate during
that time.
Note:
If your loan is in
a default period but you have made repayment arrangements
you can have your loans consolidated.
